Real-time DeFi risk platform
Low-latency risk systems at Chaos Labs, trusted by protocols like Aave, Uniswap, and Osmosis to protect billions in assets.
At Chaos Labs (2024–2025) I was a senior software engineer on the backend of an automated economic security platform for DeFi protocols — world-class risk simulation used by protocols such as Aave, Uniswap, and Osmosis to manage risk on billions of dollars in digital assets.
What I built
- Low-latency backend systems feeding the real-time risk platform — where the value of a risk signal decays in seconds, not minutes.
- Decentralized data paths that let protocols consume dynamic, risk-reducing parameters directly inside their smart contracts, in real time.
What made it interesting
DeFi risk is anomaly detection with adversaries and money on the line: market conditions shift violently, attacks are engineered to look like noise, and the system’s outputs are consumed autonomously by smart contracts. It rewards exactly the combination I like — algorithmic thinking, distributed systems discipline, and healthy paranoia.
